Gen X- Attitudes on Promotion

There is a Southwest Airlines commercial running that I think speaks volumes about Gen X expectations about promotions. The characters in the commercial think it is unfair that a fellow worker has been promoted to a managerial position before them, afterall they had been there four months before him.
